Capital Area Cleanup

Company Description:

Capital Area Cleanup is a grassroots initiative focused on the intersections of Earth and Community health. We host our celebrated monthly cleanups from the months of April to October, in the greater area of Harrisburg, PA. Our cleanups are usually in partnership with municipalities, institutions, and other change-making organizations in the area.

Beyond the service of cleaning, we have a strong focus on community education and collaboration. We are currently creating the Community Compost Coalition which will bring together or organizations, businesses, and people in the local area to create a communal sense of responsibility for composting our are green waste. Partnering with Empower at The Bridge, we will be able to provide our members with compost for their garden projects.
